Original Art Gifts Under $2,500: 2026 Holiday Gift Guide
This guide highlights 15 of our favorite original paintings and mixed media works priced from $1,100 to $2,100, all available at Galaray House, a contemporary art gallery in Boston’s SoWa Arts District. At this price, a gift is often a milestone: an anniversary, a wedding, a retirement, or a first serious piece of art. You’ll find Boston streets, coastal and country landscapes, florals, figures, and bold abstracts, in sizes from 8 x 10 to 40 x 30 inches.
Our full collection of original art at this price is much larger. When you’re ready to keep looking, browse all original art under $2,500. Our team can also help you match a piece to the recipient’s taste and space, and talk through size and placement. How to Choose Original Art as a Gift
At this price, size and wall space matter, so measure the spot before you choose. The works here run from 8 x 10 to 40 x 30 inches. Notice the colors the person already lives with, and where a piece could hang: over a sofa, a fireplace, a bed, or a dining table. If you’re torn between two, choose the subject the recipient talks about, whether that’s Boston, the water, music, or cars. For a couple, choose something both would be glad to live with. We’re happy to help you narrow it down.
